Phil and Tom discuss condos, mortgages and church.  As we move through our “Shine the Light” Capital Campaign, we openly and honestly talk about our role.  We ask the questions, “Lord, what would you do through me?”

Does our daily life point to Jesus?  Who do we hang out with?  And what do we most celebrate in this life?  If we choose to claim the name “Christian”, they we are believers, followers and disciples.  We are called to hang out with those far from God, not just family and friends.  We celebrate the risen Lord Jesus Christ every day.

One person can make a difference.  Jesus Christ is not a democrat or republican.  Jesus Christ is the Messiah, the Son of the Living God.   In Matthew 16 Jesus asks Peter “Who do you say that I am?”  Who do you say that Jesus is?  Who does the church say Jesus is?  The world will know Him by our words and deeds.

We are blessed by God.  Jesus Christ is the ultimate blessing to humanity.  We are blessed by our beliefs, words and deeds.  We are blessed when we live like Jesus.

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.”  Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”  Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life.
